About Us

Theo Adobo exists as an act of resistance to the colonization that has for centuries kept us divided as a people. In our diaspora, we are further separated from one another. It is our faith in God that has bound us together and our desire to promote religious scholarship, critical theological thinking, ecumenical relationship, and a desire to pass down faith formation for Filipino/a/x in the diaspora for generations to come. If we do not write and contribute to theological literature today, we will find our centuries of religious history and experience disappear into the whiteness that once kept us apart.
